Beagleboard is a Single-Board-Computer (SBC) created by Texas Instrument to promote their System on Chip (SoC) OMAP 3530. It is an highly integrated board with an equivalent to pentium III 600MHz processor and a graphic chipset (which won't be used in hbot), 128MB of memory, USB host and various connectors (including two UARTs, I²C and SPI).
